The Department of State Security services in Edo has denied invading the residence or arresting anyone associated with Taiwo Akerele, former Chief of Staff to Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo.
According to the Director of DSS in the state, Mr Sheikh Waziri, why reacting to the alleged invasion of Akerele"s residence, disclosed to the News Agency of Nigeria in Benin on Monday that no operative of the service invaded the residence of the former chief of staff
It would be recall that the former chief of staff ,earlier disclosed on sunday that Men of the DSS invaded his home and arrested his personal assistant Mr Jasper Olowojoba as well as taking the birth certificate of his children.This came after Taiwo Akerele earlier resigned his appointment as the COS to the Edo State Government on Saturday.
However,the state Governor Godwin obaseki has since replaced the former chief of staff with Mr Osaze Uzamure
