Nigeria has recorded 20 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing
the total number of infected persons in the country to 343.
The 20 new cases of Covid 19, were confirmed by the Nigeria centre for disease control [NCDC]via it’s
twitter handle @NCDCGOV on Monday
evening at 9.50 pm on April 13. According to NCDC, the 20 new cases were
discovered in Lagos, with 13 persons infected, others are, Edo, Kano and Ogun
states with 2 cases each, while Ondo has 1 new case of the virus.
According to the health agency, the total number of infected
persons in the country, as at Monday 13 April, stands at 343 confirmed cases,
out of which 91 persons have been discharged, while 10 deaths have been
recorded.
It should be noted that 19 states plus FCT have so far recorded cases of
Covid 19, in the country. and the states, according to NCDC, are: Lagos, 189,
FCT 56, Osun 20, Edo 14, Oyo 11, Ogun 9, Bauchi 6, Kaduna 6, Akwa Ibom 5,
Katsina 5, Kwara 4, Ondo 3, Delta 3, Kano 3, Enugu 2Ekiti 2, Rivers 2, Benue 1,
Niger 1, Anambra 1,.
