The Kano state government has reported 3 more Corona virus deaths in the state, bringing the total number of deaths in the state to 8.
This was made known by the State ministry of health, via it’s twitter handle, shortly after the Nigeria center for disease
control, [NCDC] announced 92 more infection in the State, Bringing the total
number of confirmed cases in the state to 311.
However, the minister of health, Dr Osagie Ehanire,
announced on Friday, that a 14-man team, comprising of health experts in
various areas of specialization, will be living Abuja for Kano on Saturday, to assist the state in
all areas of response.
Similarly, the chairman of the presidential tax force,on Covid 19, Boss Mustapher, said on Friday that the world
health organization had redeployed 3000 of its personnel to assist the state in the fight against the
pandemic.
The state is currently on a 14 day lockdown ordered by
president Buhari, as part of measures to curb the spread of the virus.
