I recently watched a video on Facebook where the Founder of Air Peace Airplanes; Chief Barr Allen Onyema was narrating his success story in an event organized by Ubong King. He made a very salient point which was also emphasized by Ubong.

Allen said and I quote, "You have to study your environment, find out what they lack. When you are the first person to provide an answer, you become a billionaire."

"Go to your communities, go to your environment, look within your nation, do you see any problem that nobody has found an answer yet? If you can tackle that problem...If you are the first person to discover a solution to that problem, you are on your way to wealth", he added.

This is also the motivating factor behind the Genesis Story.

The Genesis group of companies was founded by Sir Nnaeto Orazulike in a bid to solve a problem in the society.

Meanwhile, Dr. Nnaeto Orazulike is also a member of the board of Fate Foundation as well as a non-executive director of Fidelity Bank Plc.

According to Nnaeto, as a young man in his early twentys doing very fine as a banker, he took a female friend out on a date but was disappointed that he could not find a fine-dining restaurant in Enugu where he resided as at that time that met his taste.

This was problem identification by experience. He was not satisfied with the quality of the restaurants around.Nnaeto also noted that he wasn't satisfied in his banking work; practicing the accountancy he studied.

He has an entrepreneurship drive which pushed him into doing something new and creative

So, he decided to provide Enugu with an upscale restaurant in the year, 1991. This was the same year he completed his NYSC services and got the banking job.

Nnaeto started Genesis restaurant and it was an instant success. It filled a gap and solved a need.

He further expanded it and today, the Genesis Group has been in existence for 25 years and is involved in Contract Catering, Hotels, Restaurants, Cinemas, Snack Production, Real Estate Development, and Oil and Gas Services.

It has its corporate Head Office, a magnificent structure, in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

I would not want to start narrating how Genesis was a success. Although it also had its own turbulent times, but one thing is certain- ๐™ž๐™› ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ช ๐™–๐™ง๐™š ๐™™๐™š๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ง๐™ข๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™š๐™™ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™›๐™ค๐™˜๐™ช๐™จ๐™š๐™™, ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ช ๐™˜๐™–๐™ฃ ๐™ฅ๐™–๐™จ๐™จ ๐™ฉ๐™๐™ง๐™ค๐™ช๐™œ๐™ ๐™๐™–๐™ง๐™™ ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ข๐™š๐™จ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐™—๐™š ๐™จ๐™ช๐™˜๐™˜๐™š๐™จ๐™จ๐™›๐™ช๐™ก.

There are many problems aching to be solved and people are ready to give whatever it takes in cash or in kind for these problems to be solved. You might be thinking that there are already a lot of people cum companies solving problems.Sure there are, but daily, people complain of one problem or the other. Many rural communities are saddled with lots of problems ranging from electricity to communication, among others.

These are pointers that the existing companies are not solving the problems well enough or perhaps their marketing is terrible. That means there are lots of markets available for you.

Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook) solved a problem, Bill Gates (Microsoft) did the same, even Dangote (Dangote Group), Innocent Chukwuma (Innoson Motors), and all the wealthy people you hear their names.

The roadside mechanic solves a problem, that Carpenter does the same.

If we young ones would be wealthy, we must learn to listen to conversations around us and also our experiences especially during this lockdown and find out what people are complaining about. Write them down and come up with solutions. Pick the best one and get moving.

Nnaeto while being honored by the University of Port Harcourt in 2015,  admonished young persons to look at the brighter side of Nigeria and view it from a different perspective and be prepared to take the opportunities staring them in the face.

MEET THE MOST DANGEROUS BIRD THAT WEIGHS ALMOST THE SAME KG WITH ADULT HUMAN

BY IJEBOR SOLOMON

Are you curious to know which bird that could be, the most dangerous  in the world ?? then carefully read through the article below.

Records have shown over time, that,  some prehistorical human were victims of fatal bird attacks. It is also on  record  that those flying creatures can be really dangerous. The African crowned eagle and the golden eagle have both reportedly attacked humans. The ostrich and the emu can also be aggressive, and can kill with their strong kicks.

However,  despite their dangerous attributes, the above named birds are still not regarded as the most dangerous birds in the world.

Then which bird is regarded as the most dangerous?  Can you guess what  bird it could be?  it is no other, than the  Cassowary bird.

The Cassowary bird which can be found in the  tropical forests of New Guinea and Australia, is the third-tallest and second-heaviest living bird in the world.  Though  smaller than the ostrich and emu, the cassowary still stands 1.5-1.8 meters tall, weighing more than 50 kilograms, almost the size of an adult human. It has a long, sharp claw on each feet. The dagger-like claw can be over 12 centimeters in length, which makes it a powerful weapon in fights. Although,  the cassowary does not grow its claws to  attack or kill people. The claws, along with its strong feet and legs, enable it to move fast across the rainforest. The cassowary can run at a speed of 50 km/h through dense forests, jump up to 1.5 meters, and even swim in rivers and seas.

Interestingly, the cassowary is usually timid, and very wary of humans. But if provoked, they can kick with their strong legs and the sharp claws can cause fatal wounds
According to  a book written by an  ornithologist  in 1958: "There are many records of natives being killed by this bird." A 2003 historical study of 221 cassowary attacks showed that 150 had been against humans, including one death. The first documented human death caused by a cassowary was in 1926. The victim was a 16-year-old Australian boy, whose jugular vein was severed by the cassowary's claw. Infact, one of the  latest cases was in 2019, when a 75-year-old man was killed  by a  cassowary in Florida.
Though the Cassawory birds are very dangerous and powerful, but They do not attack as long as they are not threatened.
Some local villagers even keep the birds as pets or for their meat, allowing them to stay around their houses. Besides, the species plays an important role in the ecosystem. The cassowaries feed on rainforest plants and excrete seeds, which helps dispersal. Some rare plants even get a surprisingly higher germination rate for their seeds after passing through a cassowary's bowels.

I MADE KANU ANGRY: FABREGAS TELL'S CLUB LEGEND

BY SOLOMON IJEBOR:

Former Arsenal captain and midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, has revealed that he once made Kanu Nwankwo angry during their stay at the London club.

The 33 years old  midfielder, who now plays his football in the French league with Monaco, made this known during a live Instagram section with club legend, Thierry Henry.

The Spanish play maker, who joined Arsenal in 2003, disclosed that, while trying to impress the coach and the team in his first training section with the club, made a tackle on Kanu, which made the Nigerian to be very angry and upset with him.

"When you are young, sometimes you dont think, you just want to go out  and prove yourself, with out realising that you are playing along side world cup winners. at that moment, you just want to do your best and most times the passion get the best out of you" he said.

It would be recall that both Kanu and Fabregas earlier played for Arsenal, before the Ex super Eagles star left for Portsmouth in 2004 after spending five years with the premier league club.

Fabregas on the other hand, went on to be a legend at Arsenal, with 304 appearances and netted 57 goals for the club, with92 assists.

RELEASE MY MANAGER: OWNER OF DEMOLISHED HOTEL TELLS RIVER'S GOVERNMENT.

BY SOLOMON IJEBOR:

The owner of  Prodest Hotel, that was demolished by the rivers state government, Promise Gogorobari, has expressed dissatisfaction over the trial of the manager of the hotel, Dr Bariledum Azoro.

Gogorobari, made this known in a statement he released in Port Harcourt on Monday.

According to Gogobari he said “My attention has been drawn to a criminal trial, prosecuted personally by the Honourable Attorney General of Rivers State against the manager of my hotel – Prodest Hotel and myself.

“This event is disturbing given that on Sunday, 10th May, 2020, Prodest Hotel building and the fitting and fixtures, as well as beverages and consumables, were alongside the building demolished by the Executive Governor of Rivers State on the allegation by some members’ of the State COVID-19 Task Force that Prodest Hotel was functional on 9th of May, 2020 thus violating the governor’s directive.

“We had taken management decision in line with the state directive that our staff should proceed on break until the lockdown was over and that was effective 6th May, 2020 and as such, it was impossible for my hotel to be functional on 9th of May, 2020.

“I am therefore concerned that after facing the punishment of demolition of the hotel, my manager is now constrained in facing the double jeopardy of another penal punishment. If His Excellency was aware of this judicial process, why was he in a haste to demolish the hotel?

“It is an offence that bail must be granted. Right now, my manager is being offered an opportunity for his freedom if only he admits committing a crime. The presiding magistrate has since Tuesday 12th May 2020 refused to rule on an application for bail for my manager.

“I am scared of how far this governor will go. I am scared for the life of my manager. I call on every Nigerian to do their best to prevail on the governor to operate within the laws of Nigeria and ensure that my manager is granted bail and has access to all materials necessary for his trial.

“The governor should not make a mockery of the Rivers State judicial system just to prove a bestial point. He should remember that we are all humans and allow his actions to be determined by his humanity. We may be at war with coronavirus. Nigerian citizens are not the enemy,” Gogorobari added.

When contacted for comment on the matter, the State Commissioner for Information and Communications in Rivers state Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, said he could not comment on a case that was already in court.

COACHES SELECT WEAKER PLAYERS OVER STRONGER ONE'S OSAZE TELLS MEDIA TEAM

BY SOLOMON IJEBOR:

Former super eagles international Osaze Odemwingie, has revealed that some former  coaches of the National team, were player managers.

The 38 years old star made this known in an interview with the  super eagles media team via  a live section on Instagram.

According to Odemwingie, he said that some of the coaches, prefer to make  use of  weaker players over the stronger ones during matches, because they want to market the players.  In his words, "some of our coaches do get involved in a bit of player management, they had management companies.
Shuaibu Amodu for instance, had a management company.

He also lamented over  being left out of 2013 Africa cup of Nations winning team, saying he would have reached out to the then coach of the team, late Stephen Keshi, to settle their rift.

Osaze made his super eagles debut in 2002, and went on to feature in four AFCON and two world cup tournaments, and was also part of the team that won silver, in 2008 Beijing Olympics.

With this revelation by Osaze Odemwingie, will it be safe to say that, the reason some of our national team some time under perform in some tournaments, was as a result of some weaker players that  were selected to be part of the team by some of these player managers? Well, your guess is as good as mine.?

REVEAL WHEREABOUTS OF CHINESE DOCTORS ,PDP TELLS FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

BY SOLOMON IJEBOR

The people's democratic party, has given the federal government a 48 hour ultimatum to disclose the whereabout of the Chinese doctors that where brought into the country, to help contain the spread of corona virus.
This was sequel to the statement made by the minister of health, DR Osagie Ehanire that he cannot account for the whereabout of the Chinese Doctors, despite protest by the Nigeria Medical Association.
According to the PDP through it's National publicity secretary, Kola Ologbodiyan, on saturday, said that the statement by the minister, had heightened fears that the Chinese whose identity and activities had been shrouded in secrecy, might have been brought by some people for another purpose.

The statement read in part, "the party described a suspicious, creepy and weird that the minister of health, who had repeatedly assured Nigerians, that the Chinese where brought to render medical services and training and even went to receive them at the Nnamdi Azikwe international airport Abuja, on April 8,in an elaborately publicised event, can no longer account for the team"

It will be recalled that, the federal government of Nigeria, brought in some Chinese Doctors to help contain the spread of the deadly coronavirus, but since their arrival into the country, not much had been heard about their activities, or services.

The tears of an innocent woman

A barren woman
Would not be barren forever
Before you open that your  filthy mouth
To insult that woman you once loved
Remember that you also have a mother
That waited too
Who knows if you the problem?
It is not her wish to be barren
God gives children not man

Don't let your anger
Rise before the sun
Tame your mouth
when you want to insult that woman
Speak to your hands
When you are tempted to beat her
Think before you act

Love her
Like the first day you met her
Care for her
When she needs to be cared for
Encourage her when she is down
Pray with her when  it required

To the grandparents
We love you
And want you to see your grand children
But don't use the opportunity
To maltreat that priceless jewels
Be you are urgently
In need of a Grand child
Put yourself in the woman's condition
And remember how your parents
Also waited for you too
Don't misuse your role
Pray and be with them always.
Very soon, you will carry your grandchild

Letter to all parents

Dear parents,
Pls admit that we are God's gift
We are not slaves to you
Our lives are not tied to you
We could have chosen
To be with another parent
But out of his compassion
He gave you me

No one is perfect
Not even you
Perfection does not happenin a day
We ought to make mistakes
And learn from them
When you were a child
Would you deny that you never made mistakes
Absolutely NO
So what's the purpose of getting mad at us
When we make mistakes.

Gone are the days
When parents understand feelings
And know our strength and weakness
Most 21st century parents are good in criticising their wards
Instead of correcting them in love
We have treasures in us
Play your role in discovering them.

Don't be a chameleon.
White outside, black inside
Let us know exactly who you are
Stop the pretence
Who does it help?
Be responsible
If you want us to be responsible

Be the perfect example
We ought to follow
Do what is right
So that we can copy from you
And not from others
It all starts from you
Even though holy book said it
Train your child
In the way he should GO
That he would depart from it
When he is old

Well, I ain't trying to blame parents
Neither am I saying they ain't trying
In their efforts to raise us as godly children.

The Real truth is
Parents need to wake up
Not to past or present
But to realize that
We own tommorow
Yesterday was for the ancestors
Today is for you
Tommorow is for us

Train us so that we will always Remember you for good and not bad
And we will surely honor you
So that we can live long.

THE PAINS OF MARRYING THE WRONG PERSON IS WORSE THAN YOUR PRESENT FEAR OF NOT GETTING MARRIED

*DON’T MARRY A WRONG PERSON!*

*REV. FR. ‘WALE VICTOR IBIYEMI*

"*The Pains of marrying the wrong person is worse than your present fear of not getting married. Marriage is not a competition. Take your time, fall in love, nurse your ambitions, groom your relationship, because forever is too long to be unhappy. Always remember that it is better to wait long than to marry the wrong person.*"

Yesterday (May 10, 2020), I stumbled on a wedding picture on WhatsApp. The Bride was crying on the shoulders of the groom, trust me, it wasn’t tears of joy. On the picture rested the words I quoted above- I was captivated by the truth hidden in those words. I have decided to write down few things I have said to some youths at different times.

I love marriages, I love people getting married, I love the funfair, the music, the loud laughs- both real and fake, the hugs, the aso-ebi and of course, the food. Sadly, all these are not so important. The only important thing on your wedding day is whether you and your spouse truly understand what you are doing?

My Dear Youths! Marriage is not by force! Don’t kill yourself! Let me state some facts. Marriage is not an achievement! So, there is no need for competition! Marriage is not a degree or an award given to the best students who have successfully completed some training. Don’t get it wrong, marriage is one of the most beautiful things in the universe but it is not an achievement. The moment you say I do to the wrong person, your life deteriorates! Your wretchedness will begin and it will persist to your death. Who is a wrong person? A wrong person is a wrong person!
We live in a world where pressures compel us more than reasoning. We live in a society where external forces coerce us to do what the inner voice rejects. We live in a society where fear, gossip, imitation and appearance blind us from truth, reason, common sense, wisdom and reality. The pains of marrying the wrong person is worse than the present fear of mockery, age and gossip. Have you asked yourself when their gossips will end? Even if you die from domestic violence in a marriage, people will still gossip and blame you. So, don’t start what you can’t continue.

In life, marriage is a bus-stop. If you like, be an accomplished doctor, a prolific lawyer, a successful tycoon, a vibrant pastor, whatever you are, everything ends at home- in your marriage. After a long, beautiful, engaging, stressful and successful day at work, you close from your office or wherever and you have no home to return to…. How sad will it be? You will neither have someone to share the stories of your day with nor your burdens. No one to make you laugh, to ease your stress, to comfort, console, appraise and applaud you for your success... why work then?

Marriage has become an embarrassment in our time. Nevertheless, such embarrassment does not deny the truth that marriage is a beautiful thing! Don’t allow the horrible stories you see and hear every day deter you or dampen your spirit. Yes! Many people are suffering in their marriages. Their homes have become a lifelong prison. Instead of enjoying it, many are enduring it. Plenty punches here and there, many name-calling, suspicion, distrust, steady cheating, stinginess and wickedness mixed together, perpetual anger, envy, jealousy and all of those things.

Truly, the lifelong union between two peoples has its ups and downs. But when you marry your best friend- your ups and downs will be minimal.

DON’T MARRY A STRANGER! Marry your friend! Many marriages these days are between strangers, that is why they don’t last. Who is a stranger? A man or woman you do not know. Many of you in relationships now don’t even know your partners! It is all a circle of liars, a relationship of thieves! Who is your friend? Your friend is the person you know so well; someone who is open to you, who is ready to be known, you know what he/she likes, you know his/her deepest feelings, you know his/her connections, you know his/her strengths and weaknesses. A friend is someone you know from his/her depths and he/she is not ashamed that you know so much about him/her. A stranger is always hiding; he has passwords for all his phones, his computer, his door, his car, his bank accounts, his mouth and his heart… there is password for everything and you don’t know it.
No sane person jumps into marriage. You should not even jump at it. You must begin from the scratch, don’t jump any ladder, gradually grow friendship and then it becomes marriage. The scratch is friendship. Don’t begin a relationship without friendship, it will end it tears!

Please use your brain in any friendship or relationship. Love doesn’t blind you, stupidity does. Any one who pretends as a friend to exploit you cannot love you. Anyone who uses you for gains cannot marry you. Anyone who doesn’t want you to grow because of his/her myopic views and shattered ideas about life cannot be your spouse- you will remain stunted forever.
Anyone who is not happy that you are happy is a witch/wizard- such person cannot be your lover because you will stay unhappy forever.

Anyone who does not think about your growth and advancement (in your career or vocation) in life is not your friend- he/she has no foresight- you will die in integral poverty. If you and your supposed friend do not always have a melting point- walk away or else your roof will soon catch fire. If your supposed friend is threatened by your achievements and successes, run away else you will die suddenly. If your supposed friend ever raises his/her hands on you to beat you… if you remain there! Then I don’t know what to say to you. You are not yet married, you are already a punching bag, when you eventually get married, you would have successfully enrolled into the school for wrestling…if you don’t win, your lover will win you. I think I should stop here!

We have many battered homes already, tell yourself, I will not make this mistake! Commit this special journey into the hands of God always. Say, “my marriage will not be a slaughter house, it shall be a blessing and we will make the world a beautiful place.” It is better to wait long than marry wrongly.

God bless you.

COVID-19: Azubogu Hails FG Decision ON MADAGASCA HERBAL REMEDY

The member representing Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon., Engr. Chris Emeka Azubogu has praised the Federal Government over its decision to import the herbal remedy developed by Madagascar for possible treatment of COVID-19 cases in Nigeria, describing the step as a bold one.

The Federal Lawmaker, who conveyed the commendation through his media office, was reacting to the revelation made at the daily briefing by the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 yesterday.

He explained that the FG’s decision is a welcome development and in tandem with his position and that of many Nigerians who have consistently called for flexibility in the management of the pandemic in the country, especially with regards to local claims of discoveries of curative therapies.

Recall that the secretary to the Government of the Federation and Chairman of the Task Force, Boss Mustapha had revealed at Monday’s briefing that he has received instructions from Mr. President to make arrangements to airlift the Madagascar formulated COVID-19 herbal remedy for possible use in Nigeria, with a strong caveat that the remedy must be subjected to validation processes similar to what any other medicine or Syrup undergoes before use.

Recounting his position, Azubogu said: "You may recall that I have previously counseled that the authorities should accord serious attention to claims of discoveries of COVID-19 cure by various Nigerians. I had urged the Ministry of Health and Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and other relevant agencies to give our local herbs and drugs a trial”

Prior to now, the lawmaker had, during the resumed sitting of the House of Representatives on 28th April, stated that we can turn the COVID-19 pandemic into opportunities by activating our local manufacturing potentials; adding that the world is today talking about the Madagascar remedy because their Government paid heed to their local abilities, not minding objections from abroad.

His words: "Today the world is talking about Madagascar because they were not waiting for the world; they took action against objections and they are now a center of attraction on this global fight"

My position is that we should subject whatever herbal drugs anyone claims to have discovered for the cure of COVID-19 in Nigeria to validation processes. "Local manufacturing is the key as various Nations battle COVID-19 terrorized global economy" Azubogu concluded.

Governor Wike announces temporary lifting of lockdown for residents to restock foodstuffs and medicines

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has  announced the temporary lifting of the total lockdown on Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas for two days only, with effect from Tuesday 12th May 2020.

Governor Wike made the announcement in a State-Wide broadcast on Sunday night. He said that the total lockdown will be lifted on Tuesday 12th May, 2020 and Wednesday,  13th May, 2020.

Governor Wike said that the lockdown will be reinstated on Thursday,  14th May, 2020.

He said: "Consequently, we have given due consideration to the propositions on the way forward by well-meaning citizens of the State, and after a cautious review of the situation, decided to implement a partial relaxation of the lockdown measures, to enable residents to have some fresh air and replenish their foodstuffs and medicines.

"To this end, I hereby announce the temporary lifting of the total lockdown on Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Governments Areas for two days only, with effect from Tuesday 12th May 2020.

"All shops, supermarkets, and malls can open to the public for Tuesday and Wednesday, 12 and 13 May 2020.

" Similarly, all hospitals and banks can also open and provide full services to the public;

"While oil and gas companies are required to submit the list of their staff on essential duties to Government, note that there is no ban on the lifting of petroleum products from depots and other receptacles.

"The total lockdown on Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt Local Government Areas will be reinstated on Thursday 14th May 2020 and remain until further notice."

Governor Wike said all other established restrictions under the Executive Orders on social distancing are still in force.

He said: "Compulsory wearing of face mask or scarfs in vehicles and public places;

·       closure of all land, sea and air borders and entry routes into the State; and

·        closure of all open markets, including slaughters, hotels, guest houses, cinemas, bars and restaurants; and

·       ban on gathering, including public burials, weddings, and religious gathering of more than 50 persons.Once again, thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

"Please note that our enemy is invisible. stay at home, maintain social distancing, wash your hands regularly and stay safe."

He said every measure the State Government has imposed  was dictated by an assessment of the state's situation, the trend of transmission and the conviction that it was the right thing to do in the circumstance.

"As a Government, we are doing our utmost best, in the face of daunting challenges, to prevent COVID-19 from taking hold in Rivers State; to stop any possible community transmission of this disease before it is too late.

"And we shall continue on this trajectory because the alternative would spell a greater disaster for our State and our people.

"More so, when these are not arbitrary measures but fully prescribed and backed by the ordinary laws of our State, especially, Executive Orders numbers: 1 to 6.

"So far, all our measures and actions are not arbitrary but fully prescribed, guided and backed by the ordinary laws of our State, especially Executive Order numbers 1 to 6, which apply equally to all persons throughout the State. As a Government, we are obliged to enforce our laws, and in the present circumstance, we have done so without fear or favour," he said.

He added: "We equally made it loud and clear that in the fight against COVI/D-19 there would be no sacred cows; no double standards, and no sentiments of any kind, whether political, ethnic, religious, status, emotional or otherwise.

"In the last few days we have pursued with vigour and secured several convictions against those who intentional violated our COVID-19 containment laws in the same way others States are doing.

"The forfeited trucks to be auctioned by the Deputy Sherriff were not confiscated arbitrarily by the State Government, but by the orders of our Courts."

Governor Wike stated that the demolition of the two hotels in Eleme was done in line with extant laws.

He said: "Similarly, we acted against the hotelier because, apart from using the facility to jeopardize the lives of our citizens in violation of the extant law, the owner audaciously unleashed thugs lead by the Eleme Local Government Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party and inflicted severe injuries on our task-force members who went to enforce the law against the continued operation of the hotel.

" As we speak, nobody knows the fate of the lives of most of the victims of that brazen and deadly attack given the severity of the head injuries they sustained.

:And so, we’ve done no wrong as all our actions were taken in good faith and justified by, under and within the purview of the Executive Orders, which have neither been challenged nor set aside by any competent court of law."

The Governor said he remains focused on protecting Rivers people.

He said: "Therefore, while we welcome genuine criticisms directed towards strengthening our intervention measures; it is no use joining issues with uninformed critics and social media legal practitioners who, blinded and prodded by sheer politics, bias and hatred, have opted to demonized and paint our lawful and responsible actions in bad light.

"Granted that we may not have totally achieved our targets, but we are convinced that, so far, the lockdown and the other measures have impacted greatly in containing and preventing the onslaught of the pandemic on Rivers State.

"We therefore thank the entire people of Rivers State for the overwhelming understanding you have shown even as you continue to endure the pains of the restrictions on your wellbeing and fundamental freedoms."

Simeon Nwakaudu,

Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor,  Electronic Media.

THIS IS SERIOUS, DO YOU AGREE WITH WHAT THE MAN OF GOD SAID?

BY SOLOMON IJEBOR:

It's no longer news that the founder of Love   world incorporated, a.k.a Christ Embassy, pastor Chris Oyakhilome,   has  slammed     some pastors   for agreeing to shut down   their churches without asking government for time to pray about it and also to consult their congregation.

The Cleric made this known while   addressing his members   via   telecast.   He   alleged that some church   leaders   across   different nations and   cities   agreed   to   shut down their churches   because   they   were   promised   compensation   during   the   period   of   the   lockdown.

The   man of God   who   said   that   such   pastors   were   never   through   Christian's,   asked   what     compensation   can   be  enough to replace the praise and worship off     the        congregation.

He   also   questioned   why   covid   19   patients   were   shut   out   from   churches,   adding   that   the   house   of   God   ought   to   be   a   place   of   healing.

Now   the   question   is,   do   you   agree   that   some   church   leaders   actually   agreed   to   shut   down   their   churches,   because   they   were   promised   compensation?   Please   make   your   opinion   known   via   the comment   box   below.

How to make your crush love you back

Are you a guy and you've been hitting on her for a very long time and she is not even showing the green light you need, well it either you are not doing what you are supposed to do. Take this time of Lockdown and practice this steps. Now i will introduce 7 things you must do so she falls for your green light online.

1. Be something different

Every guy on every dating app leads with the same array of first texts:

“Hey, what’s up?”

“I don’t know what else to say, but you’re very pretty.”

While both will get you answers, they aren’t exactly mind-expanding first messages. Every girl has had both of these things sent to her many times in her life. You’re just adding to the pile. The chances of her falling for you from something so unoriginal are low.

Do Now: Scour through her dating profile or social media page and try to connect something that she’s listed. Don’t reach, but be original. This might take 3-5 minutes to do correctly. Say something to her that no one else has ever said to her before.

2. Let her fill in the blanks

As you start talking to her, find ways to share information about yourself while still being discreet. Girls do not like guys that are too forward. Confidence is one thing, but being aggressive with your pursuit is another.

If you want her to fall for you, be a little mysterious. Get her to ask some questions, too. She’s telling herself a story about you just like you’re making up a story in your head about her. Let her tell herself a good one.

Do Now: Mention something without fully explaining it. If possible, connect it to your conversation. Shape it so that she has to either ask a follow-up question about what you said or connect the dots herself.

3. Leave something to be desired

One (seemingly contradictory) method for getting a girl to fall for you is to pull back once in a while. Girls are used to guys that pursue them with all they’ve got. They view men who stay a little reserved as confident and alluring. She wants to know why you aren’t pursuing her like other men do.

There will be opportunities while you chat to withdraw slightly. Don’t feign indifference. Stay interested, but don’t give her everything you’ve got at once.

As the Navy SEALs saying goes, “Slow is steady, and steady is fast.” Apply that to your dating game.

Do Now: Slow things down. Stop telling her so much about yourself. Or try tip #4.

4. Text her at night

She’s going to quickly pick up on your lifestyle based on when you text her. If you go radio silent all day and only text at night, she’ll assume you are busy with work or may think you are serious about your career. If you only text during the day, she may assume that you are out partying or dating other girls.

While texting during the day is okay sometimes, do the majority of your texting early on at night. She will see that you are not out partying and giving her attention during your free time.

Both of these things will show her you’re interested and reliable, which will help her fall for you.

Do Now: Check the clock. Is it past 6pm? No? Then don’t text her yet.

5. Make jokes at her expense

Too often, women are surrounded by men that have no confidence. It might seem appealing to have the opposite gender be at your disposal and willing to do whatever you want, but it gets old and vanilla after a while.

To get her to fall for you, tease her. Make jokes about something awkward she told you from her childhood. There’s obviously a fine line between joking and being rude, so be careful not to cross it.

You’ll see what type of sense of humor she has pretty quickly and she’ll see that you don’t have her on a pedestal. She’ll like it more than you may think.

Do Now: Scroll through your conversation and see what topics or things she’s mentioned could be used as joke material later.

6. Show her you pay attention to the details

Girls love guys that remember the details. Most guys are too focused on themselves to recall things about other people. When you show her that you pay attention, she’s going to pay attention to you.

The best part about this tip is that you’ll acquire more material as you get to know her. Find ways to connect stories or be inquisitive about new details that emerge from her life, asking if things she’s already shared connect or apply.

Do Now: Take a mental note of everything she’s shared with you, even if it’s a small detail. Find ways to connect those in your conversation right now.

7. Ask about the big things

Without being weird or too forward, ask her about the big-ticket items in any girl’s life: her family, her friends, things that make her happy, etc.

Girls want to feel important. When you give them an opportunity to speak about the most important things in their lives, they usually take it.

The major auxiliary benefit of asking about the big things is that knowing this information will give you an idea if you two are going to hit it off long-term. You’re able to give her a reason to talk about important things while seeing if it’s actually a good fit: a win-win.

Do Now: Feel her out. Is she close with her family? Does she have a tight-knit group of friends? Whatever her thing is, come up with a way to ask about it honestly.

A powerful Bond that keeps them together
The power of life and death

It belongs to only you
No one can share it with you

Remember those childhood memories

It is sacred and fundamental
